Is This The Future Of Online Customer Experience?

Late last month i put up an article The Futuristic Customer Experience about Connie, a robot concierge developed by IBM for Hilton McLean, which draws on domain knowledge from Watson & WayBlazer to enhance location data and make suggestions based on proximity to the hotel, to help hotel guests figure out what to visit, where to dine, and how to find anything at the property.


IBM Watson is also trying to do a similar thing on The North Face website. 

The North Face is testing a new feature on its website called ‘Expert Personal Shopper’ or XPS, the site uses natural language to ask questions about the type of jacket you’re looking for and makes recommendations based on your answers.

This technology powered by Watson has serious implications on the future of online shopping and customer experience.
