Customer Service Week is an international event devoted to recognizing the importance of customer service, and rewarding those who service and support customers each day. It is celebrated annually during the 1st week in October in over 40 countries around the world.
Customer Service Week is an opportunity for service & support professionals around the world to join in the celebration of the important role that customer service plays in every organization.
Objectives
The objectives of celebrating Customer service week are to –
- Boost morale, motivation & teamwork.
- Reward front-line reps for the important work they do.
- Raise company wide awareness of the importance of customer service and enhance team bonding.
- Remind customers of commitment to customer satisfaction.
This year’s theme is – Building Trust.
The theme recognizes the importance of trust in forming strong, productive, and lasting relationships with customers and coworkers. It is a powerful message for everyone to celebrate during the customer service week.
